Capital Stage welcomes Key Issues Paper on EEG reform

DGAP-News: Capital Stage AG / Key word(s): Statement

22.01.2014 / 08:55

Hamburg, 22 January 2014 - Hamburg based solar- and wind park operator
Capital Stage welcomes the reform proposals for energy politics presented
by Federal Minister of Economics Sigmar Gabriel. Especially the
determination on binding expansion targets for renewable energies, the
unrestricted preservation of protection for existing plants as well as the
focus on the most cost-effective technologies PV and onshore wind are
important fundamentals and signals for investors. It is also to be stressed
out as positive, that already with the first draft clarity in numerous
sectors has been generated quickly.

'It is positive, that Federal Minister Gabriel is tackling the subject EEG
2.0 determinedly already after a few weeks in office, as from our point of
view as an investor, clearness is of paramount importance,' says Felix
Goedhart, CEO of Capital Stage AG. Via the proposed measures, he is not
expecting consequences on the further business development: 'The speciality
of our business model lies in the concentration on existing parks. In this
respect a change of feed-in-tariffs for new plants does not affect us
directly. Furthermore, we are invested in Italy and France as well and are
therefore to a large extent independent from developments in Germany.'

About Capital Stage AG:

Germany, France and Italy with a capacity totaling to around 241 MWp,
making it Germany's largest operator of solar parks. Its solar and wind
parks generate attractive returns and continuous revenues, while offering a
moderate level of investment risk.
Capital Stage AG is listed in the regulated market (Prime Standard) of the
