Correction of a voting rights announcement as of July 23, 2012

On February 3, 2014 Software AG was notified in the name and on behalf of
FMR LLC, Boston, USA, pursuant to Section 21 (1) WpHG of the following:

On July 20, 2012 the voting rights held by FMR LLC, Boston, USA, have
exceeded the threshold of 5% of the voting rights in Software AG,
Uhlandstr. 12, 64297 Darmstadt, Germany. On that date, FMR LLC held 5.06%
(this corresponds to 4,393,140 voting rights) in Software AG.

All voting rights in Software AG were attributed to FMR LLC pursuant to
Section 22 (1), sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG. The voting
rights were attributed to FMR LLC inter alia from Fidelity Puritan Trust,
being a shareholder holding directly 3% or more of the voting rights in
Software AG.
