On February 03, 2014, FMR LLC, Boston, USA has informed us according to
Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on
AIXTRON SE, Herzogenrath, Germany, have fallen below the 5% threshold of
the Voting Rights on February 24, 2010 and on that day amounted to 4.93%
(this corresponds to 4960490 Voting Rights).

Thereof, 4.93% (this corresponds to 4960490 Voting Rights) are to be
attributed according to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No.6 in
connection with Sentence 2 of the WpHG to FMR LLC. Voting Rights were
attributed to FMR LLC from Fidelity Investment Trust being a shareholder
holding 3% or more of the Voting Rights in AIXTRON SE.
