On February 05, 2014, BlackRock Advisors Holdings, Inc., New York, NY,
U.S.A. has informed us according to section 21 para. 1 WpHG that its
percentage of voting rights in Allianz SE, Munich, Germany, has fallen
below the 5% threshold on February 03, 2014 and on that day amounted to
4.997% (this corresponds to 22,811,930 voting rights).

According to section 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 6 in connection with
sentence 2 WpHG, 4.997% of the voting rights (this corresponds to
22,811,930 voting rights) are to be attributed to the company.
