With letter of February 17, 2014, we have been notified of the following:

1. UBH Holding GmbH, Zossen, Deutschland has informed us according to
   Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that its Voting Rights in
   HeidelbergCement AG, Heidelberg, Deutschland, because of the change of the
   total number of Voting Rights due to a capital increase by way of
   contribution in kind have fallen below the 25% threshold of the Voting
   Rights on February 13, 2014 and on that day amounted to 24.95% (this
   corresponds to 46,887,365 Voting Rights). The Voting Rights in
   HeidelbergCement AG attributable to UBH Holding GmbH were held by the
   following enterprises controlled by UBH Holding GmbH, whose share of Voting
   Rights in HeidelbergCement AG each amount to 3% or more:

2. Spohn Cement Beteiligungen GmbH.

3. Spohn Cement Beteiligungen GmbH, Zossen, Deutschland has informed us
   according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that its Voting Rights in
   HeidelbergCement AG, Heidelberg, Deutschland, because of the change of the
   total number of Voting Rights due to a capital increase by way of
   contribution in kind have fallen below the 25% threshold of the Voting
   Rights on February 13, 2014 and on that day amounted to 24.95% (this
   corresponds to 46,887,365 Voting Rights).
