The Monks Investment Trust PLC ('the Company') hereby gives notification that Mr Karl Sternberg, Chairman of the Company, has indicated his intention not to offer himself for re-election at the Company's Annual General Meeting ('AGM') to be held in September 2025.

In the 2024 Annual Report, it was noted that the Board had asked Mr Sternberg to remain as Chairman after the 2024 AGM, and that an announcement about future succession plans would be made in due course. The Board intends to appoint a new Chairman by mid-2025.
