We have been notified on March 13, 2014 of the following:

1. On March 12, 2014, the stake of Mr. Eric R. Colson, c/o Artisan Partners
   Holdings LP, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202-5408, in the voting rights in MTU
   Aero Engines AG, Dachauer Str. 665, 80995 München, Germany, exceeded the
   thresholds of 3% and 5%. On that date, Mr. Eric R. Colson held 5.96% in
   relation to all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG (voting rights arising
   from 3,096,964 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)). All such voting rights were
   attributable to Mr. Eric R. Colson pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6
   in connection with sentences 2 and 3 WpHG. Of such voting rights, more than
   3% in relation to all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG were voting
   rights arising from shares held by Artisan Partners Funds, Inc.

2. On March 12, 2014, the stake of Mr. Charles J. Daley, c/o Artisan
   Partners Holdings LP, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202-5408, USA, in the voting
   rights in MTU Aero Engines AG, Dachauer Str. 665, 80995 München, Germany,
   exceeded the threshold of 3% and 5%. On that date, Mr. Charles J. Daley
   held 5.96% in relation to all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG (voting
   rights arising from 3,096,964 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)). All such
   voting rights were attributable to Mr. Charles J. Daley pursuant to section
   22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sentences 2 and 3 WpHG. Of such
   voting rights, more than 3% in relation to all voting rights in MTU Aero
   Engines AG were voting rights arising from shares held by Artisan Partners
   Funds, Inc.

3. On March 12, 2014, the stake of Mr. Gregory K. Ramirez, c/o Artisan
   Partners Holdings LP, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202-5408, USA, in the voting
   rights in MTU Aero Engines AG, Dachauer Str. 665, 80995 München, Germany,
   exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5%. On that date, Mr. Gregory K. Ramirez
   held 5.96% in relation to all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG (voting
   rights arising from 3,096,964 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)). All such
   voting rights were attributable to Mr. Gregory K. Ramirez pursuant to
   section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sentences 2 and 3 WpHG. Of
   such voting rights, more than 3% in relation to all voting rights in MTU
   Aero Engines AG were voting rights arising from shares held by Artisan
   Partners Funds, Inc.

4. On March 12, 2014 the stake of Artisan Investment Corporation,
   Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202-5408, USA, in the voting rights in MTU Aero
   Engines AG, Dachauer Str. 665, 80995 München, Germany, fell below the
   thresholds of 5% and 3%. On that date, Artisan Investment Corporation held
   0% in relation to all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG (voting rights
   arising from 0 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)).

5. On March 12, 2014, the stake of ZFIC, Inc., Milwaukee, Wisconsin
   53202-5408, USA, in the voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG, Dachauer Str.
   665, 80995 München, Germany, fell below the thresholds of 5% and 3%. On
   that date, ZFIC, Inc., held 0% in relation to all voting rights in MTU Aero
   Engines AG (voting rights arising from 0 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)).

6. On March 12, 2014, the stake of Mr. Andrew A. Ziegler, c/o Artisan
   Partners Holdings LP, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202-5408, USA, in the voting
   rights in MTU Aero Engines AG, Dachauer Str. 665, 80995 München, Germany,
   fell below the thresholds of 5% and 3%. On that date, Mr. Andrew A. Ziegler
   held 0% in relation to all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG (voting
   rights arising from 0 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)).

7. On March 12, 2014, the stake of Ms. Carlene M. Ziegler, c/o Artisan
   Partners Holdings LP, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202-5408, USA, in the voting
   rights in MTU Aero Engines AG, Dachauer Str. 665, 80995 München, Germany,
   fell below the thresholds of 5% and 3%. On that date, Ms. Carlene M.
   Ziegler held 0% in relation to all voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG
