Deutsche Börse AG: Criminal investigation against Clearstream Banking S.A.

Tonight, Clearstream Banking S.A. ("Clearstream"), a 100 percent subsidiary
of Deutsche Börse AG, has been informed by its U.S. counsels, that the
United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York has made
Clearstream subject of criminal investigation in connection with alleged
violations of U.S. money laundering and Iran sanction laws.

Currently, while Clearstream is cooperating with the U.S. Attorney, the
investigation is in a very early stage.
