KION GROUP AG: Release according to Article 26, Section 1 of the WpHG [the
German Securities Trading Act] with the objective of Europe-wide
distribution

On April 2, 2014, KION GROUP AG, Abraham-Lincoln-Strasse 21, 65189
Wiesbaden, Germany (ISIN DE000KGX8881, WKN KGX888) has received the
following voting rights notifications pursuant to Section 21 para. (1) WpHG
:

1. On April 02, 2014, KKR PEI GP Limited, St Peter Port, Guernsey has
   informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares
   its Voting Rights on KION GROUP AG, Wiesbaden, Deutschland, have fallen
   below the 3%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and 50% threshold of the Voting
   Rights on April 01, 2014 and on that day amounted to 0.00% (this
   corresponds to 0 Voting Rights).

2. On April 02, 2014, KKR PEI GP Limited, George Town, Kaimaninseln has
   informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares
   its Voting Rights on KION GROUP AG, Wiesbaden, Deutschland, have exceeded
   the 3%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and 50% threshold of the Voting Rights
   on April 01, 2014 and on that day amounted to 68.00% (this corresponds to
   67254200 Voting Rights). 34.70% of Voting Rights (this corresponds to
   34320500 Voting Rights) are attributed to the company in accordance with
   Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG (German Securities
   Trading Act). Attributed Voting Rights are held by the following companies
   under its control, whose share of the Voting Rights in KION GROUP AG
   amounts to 3 percent or more: KKR PEI Associates, L.P., KKR PEI
   Investments, L.P., KKR PEI International Holdings GP Ltd., KKR PEI
   International Holdings L.P., Superlift Holding S.à r.l..
   33.30% of Voting Rights (this corresponds to 32933700 Voting Rights) are
   attributed to the company in accordance with Article 22, Section 2, WpHG
   (German Securities Trading Act). Attributed Voting Rights are held by the
   following shareholders, whose share of the Voting Rights in KION GROUP AG
   amounts to 3 percent or more: Weichai Power
   (Luxembourg) Holding S.à r.l..
