Correction of the release dated April 30, 2014

1. Herdor GmbH & Co. KG, Unterschleißheim, Germany, notified us pursuant to
   sec 21 para 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) that its share of
   the voting rights in STRATEC Biomedical AG, Birkenfeld, Germany, exceeded
   the thresholds of 10, 15, 20 and 25% on April 27, 2014 and amounted to
   25.40% on this date (2,990,000 voting rights). Of these, 15.72% (1,850,000
   voting rights) were attributable to it pursuant to sec. 22 para 2 WpHG via
   Tanja van Dinter, Bettina Siegle and Ralf Leistner, which all hold at least
   3% of the voting rights.

2. Herdor Beteiligungs GmbH, Unterschleißheim, Germany, notified us
   pursuant to sec. 21 para 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) that
   its share of the voting rights in STRATEC Biomedical AG, Birkenfeld,
   Germany, exceeded the thresholds of 10, 15, 20 and 25% on April 27, 2014
   and amounted to 25.40% on this date (2,990,000 voting rights). Of these,
   25.40% (2.990,000 voting rights) were attributable to it pursuant both to
   sec. 22 para 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG and to sec. 22 para 2 WpHG via Herdor
   GmbH & Co. KG, Tanja van Dinter, Bettina Siegle and Ralf Leistner, which
   all hold at least 3% of the voting rights.
