AURELIUS to expand its international footprint by opening an office in Stockholm

– AURELIUS Nordics to step up activities in Scandinavia

– Regionalization is an important element of the Group’s business strategy

Munich / Stockholm, May 8, 2014 – In the future, the Scandinavian activities of the AURELIUS Group (ISIN DEoooAoJKosA8) will be managed to a greater degree from Stockholm, Sweden. A two-person acquisition team will work the markets in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. These company acquisition specialists will cooperate closely with the London Office and with corporate headquarters in Munich. “We are delighted to have recruited these two renowned experts, Erik Bork and Joakim Notö, to step up our activities in the Scandinavian markets,” said Donatus Albrecht, the AURELIUS Executive Board member responsible for transactions. “AURELIUS Nordics will continue the Group’s success story in the markets of Northern Europe.”

The further regionalization of AURELIUS’s footprint serves the purpose of intensifying the Group’s contacts in highly promising markets. AURELIUS Nordic in Stockholm is the Group’s second international office, after the London Office. “Northern Europe is a very lucrative market,” said Executive Board Chairman Dr. Dirk Markus. “We have excellent contacts with numerous prestigious corporate groups operating in this region, and a great reputation earned through many successful projects.” The AURELIUS Group acquired Schabmüller in 2007 and SECOP (formerly: Danfoss Household Compressors) from the Danish Danfoss Group in 2010. The current subsidiary brightONE once belonged to the Finnish Tieto Group. The Scotland-based specialty chemicals producer Calachem was purchased from the Finnish KemFine Group in 2010.
