We have been notified on May 7, 2014 of the following:

A) UBS AG, Zurich, Switzerland, gives notice pursuant to section 21 para. 1
WpHG of the following:

On May 5, 2014, UBS AG fell below the threshold of 3% of the voting rights
in MTU Aero Engines AG, Dachauer Strasse 665, 80995 Munich, Germany. On
that date, UBS AG held 1.83% of the voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG,
arising from 952,219 voting rights, thereof 1.64% (853,489 voting rights)
direct and 0.19% (98,730 voting rights) indirect.

The 1.83% (952,219 voting rights) are attributable to UBS AG pursuant to
sec. 22 para.1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.
