ODDO et Cie, Paris, France, informed Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, Jena, Germany,
on 26 June 2014 pursuant to Art. 21 Section 1 WpHG that on 25 June 2014 the
percentage of voting rights of ODDO Asset Management, Paris, France, in
Carl Zeiss Meditec AG increased above the threshold of 3%. The percentage
of voting rights amounted to 3.04% (corresponding to 2,469,819 voting
rights) on this date. All these voting rights are attributed to ODDO et
Cie, Paris, France, pursuant to Art. 22 Section 1 sentence 1 No. 6 WpHG in
connection with Art 22 Section 1 sentence 2 WpHG.
