On August 25, 2014, Baillie Gifford & Co, Edinburgh, Scotland informed us
according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that on August 22, 2014 its
voting rights in Deutsche Börse AG, Frankfurt / Main, Deutschland, exceeded
the 3% threshold and on that day amounted to 3.004% (this corresponds to
5798681 voting rights).

1.432% (this corresponds to 2765190 Voting Rights) were attributed to
Baillie Gifford & Co, pursuant to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6
of the WpHG. 1.572% (this corresponds to 3033491 voting rights) were
attributed to Baillie Gifford & Co, pursuant to Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 1, No. 6 and sentence 2 of the WpHG via Baillie Gifford Overseas
Limited.
