alstria leases 7,300 sqm in Neuss
Hamburg, September 4, 2014 – alstria office REIT-AG (symbol: AOX, ISIN: DE000A0LD2U1), the leading German office REIT, announces the signing of a new lease for its asset in Jagenbergstrasse 1, Neuss.
The new tenant, a subsidiary of a leading automotive company, signed a 10-year rental contract for 7,300 sqm of office and ancillary space. The lease will start at the end of the rental agreement with the existing tenant Rheinmetall. The signing of this new lease follows the lease-up of around 6,800 sqm of office space to a US industrial company last year.
“The signing of leases of more than 5,000 sqm is a testimony of alstria’s capacity to attract tenants to its assets and take advantage of the strong leasing markets”, says Olivier Elamine, CEO of alstria. “This new lease is another success of our Düsseldorf office, which has established a strong track record since its opening two years ago”.
