pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG of the following:

On December 16, 2013, Threadneedle Asset Management UK Ltd fell below the
threshold of 3% of the voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG, Dachauer
Strasse 665, 80995 Munich, Germany. On that date, Threadneedle Asset
Management UK Ltd held indirectly 2.48% of the voting rights in MTU Aero
Engines AG, arising from 1,290,143 voting rights.

The 2.48% (1,290,143 voting rights) are attributable to Threadneedle Asset
Management UK Ltd pursuant to sec. 22 para.1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG in
connection with sent. 2 WpHG.

TAM UK Holdings Limited, London, United Kingdom, gives notice pursuant to
section 21 para. 1 WpHG of the following:

On December 16, 2013, TAM UK Holdings Limited fell below the threshold of
3% of the voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG, Dachauer Strasse 665, 80995
Munich, Germany. On that date, TAM UK Holdings Limited held indirectly
2.48% of the voting rights in MTU Aero Engines AG, arising from 1,290,143
voting rights.

The 2.48% (1,290,143 voting rights) are attributable to TAM UK Holdings
Limited pursuant to sec. 22 para.1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG in connection with
sent. 2 WpHG.
