On November 4, 2014, Palatin Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, Essen, Germany,
informed us according to sec. 21 of the WpHG that its share of voting
rights in METRO AG, Dusseldorf, Germany, exceeded the thresholds of 3%, 5%
and 10% on November 3, 2014, and on that day amounts to 13.17% of the
voting rights (42,690,514 voting rights).
