Dr. Markus Warncke appointed new CFO of Villeroy & Boch AG

45-year-old financial expert has been with the company since 2001

The Supervisory Board of Villeroy & Boch AG has appointed Dr. Markus
Warncke (45) as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Villeroy & Boch AG
with effect from 1 January 2015. He succeeds Jörg Wahlers, who left the
company in spring 2014. In his role as CFO, Dr. Warncke will be responsible
for the areas of Finance, Taxes, IT, Procurement, Property and Internal
Audit. His term runs until 31 December 2017.

Management Board has gained a financial expert who has already demonstrated
his expertise and leadership with great success in many different functions
at Villeroy & Boch. Having been with the company for several years, he also
has a detailed knowledge of Villeroy & Boch's internal processes and
products," commented Wendelin von Boch-Galhau, Chairman of the Supervisory
Board of Villeroy & Boch AG. "Dr. Warncke enjoys the absolute trust of the
Supervisory Board and I have no doubt that he will enrich the work of the
Management Board with his proven financial expertise."

After studying economics, Dr. Markus Warncke began his career with
Daimler-Benz AG before moving to Villeroy & Boch in 2001. Dr. Warncke, who
has a PhD in Business Administration, was the Head of Corporate Audit and
M&A at Villeroy & Boch until 2005 before taking over as Head of Finance and
Administration in the Wellness & Fittings Division until 2007.
Following positions as Head of Group Treasury (until 2011) and Group
Financial Controller, Dr. Warncke became Head of Finance in spring 2014 -
and has now been appointed to the four-person Management Board of Villeroy
& Boch AG with effect from 1 January 2015.
