The Board of Personal Assets Trust plc (the "Company") is seeking an early renewal of its authority to buy back Ordinary shares in order to ensure the continued operation of its discount and premium control policy. Accordingly, the Company has published a circular convening a general meeting (the "General Meeting") to be held at 11.00 a.m. on 9 July 2024 at 28 Walker Street, Edinburgh EH3 7HR.

At the General Meeting a resolution will be put to shareholders to give the Board authority to buy back up to 50,448,600 Ordinary shares, which equates to approximately 14.99% of the issued share capital, or if less the number representing 14.99% of the issued share capital on the date of the passing of the resolution.

A copy of the circular has been submitted to the Financial Conduct Authority and will be available for inspection at the National Storage Mechanism which is located at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism .
