Change in the chairmanship of the Supervisory Board of DEUTZ AG

Lars-Göran Moberg, the chairman of the Supervisory Board of DEUTZ AG, has
today resigned from his membership of the Supervisory Board of DEUTZ AG for
personal reasons effective as of the end of the Company's Annual General
Meeting on 29 April this year and announced his intention to step down as
Supervisory Board chairman already at the end of the ordinary Supervisory
Board meeting scheduled for 12 March this year. DEUTZ AG very much regrets
this decision and would like to thank Lars-Göran Moberg for the valuable
and successful contribution that he has made as Supervisory Board chairman
since May 2009. It is expected that Hans-Georg Härter - a member of DEUTZ's
Supervisory Board since 2013 - will be proposed to succeed him and to be
elected as Supervisory Board chairman.
