BMF Real Estate Partners: joint venture between BECKEN and MPC Capital becomes a new name in the marketplace
Hamburg, April 28, 2015 – “BMF Real Estate Partners” is the name of the joint venture established by real estate specialist BECKEN and asset and investment manager MPC Capital AG. Under the new brand umbrella, the two Hamburg companies will pool their core skills and together realise special real estate projects in Germany that are suitable for investment funds.
Bringing together the profound market knowledge of the BECKEN Group and the many years of experience in financing alternative investments that resides within MPC Capital, BMF Real Estate Partners is a competitive new player in the market for German commercial and residential real estate. The management of BMF is shared by Karsten Dill (BECKEN Holding) and Stefan Viering (MPC Capital).
BMF Real Estate Partners is currently negotiating the acquisition of its first real estate portfolios. “We are in the process of analysing the first portfolios so that core and opportunistic assets can be broken down according our envisaged risk/reward profile,” commented Karsten Dill. Stefan Viering added: “We are registering high demand for both investment strategies from a variety of investor groups.”
About the BECKEN Group
For several decades the BECKEN Group, under the umbrella of BECKEN Holding GmbH, has been focusing on highly specialised services and integrated solutions along the entire real estate value chain. The core skills of the BECKEN Group are asset management and real estate development. In its capacity as asset manager, BECKEN for example teamed up with a joint venture partner in 2014 to acquire a real estate portfolio of 109 properties with a value of EUR 400 million. BECKEN Development provides the full range of project development and management services, with the focus on residential and office properties as well as district development. It is currently handling a further development volume of approx. EUR 400 million. BECKEN, in conjunction with the HASPA Group, also acts as one of North Germany’s leading property managers, following the merger of both companies’ property management activities under the auspices of HASPA HanseGrund at the start of 2015.
