Notifications of voting rights pursuant to section 21 para 1 WpHG

We received the following notifications of voting rights pursuant to
section 21 para. 1 WpHG on April 27, 2015:

I. Notification of voting rights pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG from BR
Jersey International Holdings L.P.:

Issuer: BASF SE, Carl-Bosch-Straße 38, 67056 Ludwigshafen, Germany

On April 23, 2015, the percentage holding of the voting rights of BR Jersey
International Holdings L.P., St. Helier, Jersey, Jersey, of BASF SE (ISIN
DE000BASF111) fell below the threshold of 3 % through disposal and amounts
indirectly to 2.92 % on that day (this corresponds to 26,788,665 voting
rights out of a total of 918,478,694 voting rights). 1.77 % out of the
voting rights (this corresponds to 16,262,827 voting rights) are to be
attributed to BR Jersey International Holdings L.P. pursuant to sec. 22
para. 1 sentence 1 No. 1 WpHG. 1.48 % out of the voting rights (this
corresponds to 13,564,425 voting rights) are to be attributed to BR Jersey
International Holdings L.P. pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 1 No. 6 in
connection with sentence 2 WpHG.

Please note that the total amount stated above does not necessarily equal
the sum of the detailed attributed holdings. This results from voting
rights having multiple attributions within the BlackRock group structure.

II. Notification of voting rights pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG from
BlackRock International Holdings, Inc.:

Issuer: BASF SE, Carl-Bosch-Straße 38, 67056 Ludwigshafen, Germany

On April 23, 2015, the percentage holding of the voting rights of BlackRock
International Holdings, Inc., Wilmington, DE, U.S.A., of BASF SE (ISIN
DE000BASF111) fell below the threshold of 3 % through disposal and amounts
indirectly to 2.92 % on that day (this corresponds to 26,788,665 voting
rights out of a total of 918,478,694 voting rights). 1.77 % out of the
voting rights (this corresponds to 16,262,827 voting rights) are to be
attributed to BlackRock International Holdings, Inc. pursuant to sec. 22
para. 1 sentence 1 No. 1 WpHG. 1.48 % out of the voting rights (this
corresponds to 13,564,425 voting rights) are to be attributed to BlackRock
International Holdings, Inc. pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 1 No. 6
in connection with sentence 2 WpHG.
