Annual General Meeting of Telefónica Deutschland resolves cash dividend of 714 million Euro for the fiscal year 2014

Today the shareholders of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG held their first Annual General Meeting after the integration with E-Plus at Alte Kongresshalle in Munich Theresienhöhe.

As part of the resolutions and with a majority of 99.7%, the General Meeting voted for the proposal of the management board and the supervisory board on the distribution of profits. The shareholders of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG will receive a cash dividend for the fiscal year 2014 of 714 million Euro (year before: 525 million Euro) respective 0.24 Euro per share – on an almost tripled number of shares entitled to dividend compared to the year before.

The shareholders also agreed with a high majority to the discharge of the members of the management board and of the supervisory board for the financial year 2014 and voted for Laura Absasolo García Baquedano to replace the retiring Maria Pilar López Álvarez as a member of the supervisory board.

The participation rate at the Annual General Meeting was about 90.5 percent.
