Paragon Banking Group PLC (the "Company") announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of £1.00 each through UBS AG London Branch ("UBS"). This completes the share buyback programme of up to £50m announced on 6 December 2023. The Group regularly reviews its approach to capital management and will provide the next update with the interim results.

Following the purchase of these shares, the Company holds 4,919,685 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 211,685,275 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). The figure of 211,685,275 ordinary shares represents the total voting rights in the Company and may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
