On July 16, 2015, Franklin Mutual Series Funds, Wilmington, Delaware,
United States of America, has informed us according to sec. 21 para. 1 of
the WpHG that its share of voting rights in METRO AG, Düsseldorf, Germany,
exceeded the 3% threshold of the voting rights on July 15, 2015 and on that
day amounted to 3.001% of the voting rights (9,726,665 voting rights).
