On September 1, 2015, BlackRock, Inc., Wilmington, DE, USA, informed us
according to Sec. 21, para. 1 WpHG that via shares its voting rights in SAP
SE, Walldorf, Germany, exceeded the 5% threshold of the voting rights on
August 27, 2015, and on that day amounted to 5.06% (this corresponds to
62,170,377 voting rights).

2.09% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 25,632,553 voting rights)
are to be attributed to BlackRock, Inc. according to Sec. 22, para. 1,
Sentence 1, No. 1 WpHG.

3.23% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 39,637,148 voting rights)
are to be attributed to BlackRock, Inc. according to Sec. 22, para. 1,
Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with Sec. 22, para. 1, Sentence 2 WpHG.

BlackRock, Inc. explained that the total amount stated above does not
necessarily equal the sum of the detailed attributed holdings. This results
from voting rights having multiple attributions within the BlackRock group
structure.
