On September 7, 2015, BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., Wilmington, DE,
USA, informed us according to Sec. 21, para. 1 WpHG that via shares its
voting rights in SAP SE, Walldorf, Germany, exceeded the 5% threshold of
the voting rights on September 3, 2015, and on that day amounted to 5.001%
(this corresponds to 61,441,195 voting rights).

2.12% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 26,006,843 voting rights)
are to be attributed to BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. according to
Sec. 22, para. 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 WpHG.

0.01% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 86,030 voting rights) are
to be attributed to BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. according to Sec.
22, para. 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 WpHG.

3.13% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 38,458,195 voting rights)
are to be attributed to BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. according to
Sec. 22, para. 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with Sec. 22, para. 1,
Sentence 2 WpHG.

BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. explained that the total amount stated
above does not necessarily equal the sum of the detailed attributed
holdings. This results from voting rights having multiple attributions
within the BlackRock group structure.
