Stabilus S.A.: Personnel Change in the Supervisory Board
Luxembourg/Koblenz, September 29, 2015 – Stabilus S.A. (Stabilus, ISIN: LU1066226637), the globally leading developer and producer of gas springs and hydraulic dampers, is announcing a change of personnel in its supervisory board: Dr.-Ing. Ralf-Michael Fuchs will take the place of Nizar Ghoussaini as a member of the Stabilus S.A. supervisory board effective October 1, 2015.
Nizar Ghoussaini has been a member of the Stabilus supervisory board since 2014. He joined the Stabilus advisory board in 2010, following the majority acquisition of the Stabilus holding company (today: Stabilus S.A.) by Triton. After the company’s successful initial public offering in May 2014, he was appointed as a member of the supervisory board of Stabilus S.A. Stabilus wishes to thank Mr. Ghoussaini for his outstanding contribution to the success of Stabilus.
With the appointment of Dr.-Ing. Ralf-Michael Fuchs (57), Stabilus wins a proven industry expert for its supervisory board. Dr. Fuchs joined Dürr AG in 2000. Today, he is a member of the Dürr Senior Executive Management and CEO of the Division Measuring and Process Systems. Furthermore, he is CEO of Carl Schenck AG as well as Chairman of the management board of Schenck RoTec GmbH, both subsidiaries of Dürr Group. Previously, he had been serving in various leading roles, including positions at AGIV AG and IWKA AG. Dr. Fuchs completed his studies with a degree in industrial engineering and a doctorate in engineering.
Apart from Dr. Fuchs’s appointment, the composition of the supervisory board – with chairman Udo Stark, deputy chairman Dr. Stephan Kessel as well as Dr. Joachim Rauhut – remains unchanged.
