We have been notified on October 2, 2015 of the following:

1. Financière IDAT, Paris, France, has informed us according to Article 21,
   Section 1 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act) that via shares it's
   Voting Rights on MTU Aero
   Engines AG, München, Germany, have exceeded the 3% threshold of the Voting
   Rights on March 16, 2015 and on that day amounted to 3.03% (this
   corresponds to 1,575,796 Voting Rights).

Of these aforementioned voting rights 2.18% (1,132,188 Voting Rights) are
attributed to the company in accordance with Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG and 0.85% (443,678 Voting Rights) are
attributed to the company in accordance with Article 22, Section 1,
Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with sent. 2 of the WpHG.

1. Mr. Philippe Oddo, France, has informed us according to Article 21,
   Section 1 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act) that via shares his
   Voting Rights on MTU Aero Engines AG, München, Germany, have exceeded the
   3% threshold of the Voting Rights
   on March 16, 2015 and on that day amounted to 3.03% (this corresponds to
   1,575,796 Voting Rights).

Of these aforementioned voting rights 2.18% (1,132,188 Voting Rights) are
attributed to Mr. Oddo in accordance with Article 22, Section 1, Sentence
1, No. 1 of the WpHG and 0.85% (443,678 Voting Rights) are attributed to
Mr. Oddo in accordance with Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in
connection with sent 2 of the WpHG.
