On October 6, 2015, the voting interest held by Standard Life Investments
Ltd, Edinburgh, UK, in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Düsseldorf, Germany,
fell below the threshold of 3% and amounted to 2.99% (5,759,826 voting
rights) on that day.

The voting interest in the amount of 2.99% (5,759,826 voting rights) is
attributable to Standard Life Investments Ltd pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1
sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG, of this amount 1.56% (2,995,224 voting rights) are also
