Establishment of new Technology Committee

The Board of Pod Point Group Holdings plc (the "Board"), a leading provider of electric vehicle charging solutions in the UK, is pleased to announce that it has established a new Technology Committee (the "Committee").

A Technology Sub-Committee, reporting to the Audit & Risk Committee, currently exists and met three times during 2023. However, the Board recognises the importance of the technology strategy to the overall company strategy and the success of the business and feels that a full committee is required.  

The Committee will assist the Board in providing oversight and challenge and will provide guidance to the Board with regards to all aspects of Information Technology, Data and Cyber Security (including IT and Information Security) across the Group. This will include, but is not limited to, ensuring the Company maintains appropriate resources, policies and processes to effectively support its technology, data and cyber security strategies, overseeing future technology development, ensuring identified technology related risks are mitigated and reviewing significant transformation and technology programmes.

The Committee is chaired by Norma Dove-Edwin (Independent Non-executive Director), who has over 20 years of experience, with a focus on business transformations and the purposeful use of digital, data and technology to drive growth. Erika Schraner (Independent Non-executive Director), who also has extensive experience in technology roles, will be a member of the Committee.
