DEMIRE extends contract of CEO Andreas Steyer
Frankfurt, 2 December 2015, the Supervisory Board of DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstand Real Estate AG (“DEMIRE”, ISIN DE000A0XFSF0) has extended the contract of Hon.-Prof. Andreas Steyer (50), Speaker of the Executive Board (CEO) by three years. Thus, the employment contract, due to expire at the end of February 2016, was renewed early until February 2019.
Mr. Steyer was appointed to the Executive Board in March 2013 and has been the Company’s Speaker of the Executive Board (CEO) since May 2013. As a real estate expert, Mr. Steyer led the Company’s successful strategic transformation into a German commercial real estate specialist, which included renaming the Company into DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstand Real Estate AG. Under Mr. Steyer’s direction, the Company will have also expanded its real estate portfolio focussed on German secondary locations to presumably more than EUR 1 billion by the end of 2015.
