Ahrensburg, January 7, 2016 - BASLER AG, the leading global manufacturer of
industrial cameras, is raising its forecast for financial year 2015 today.

In December 2015, the company recorded an untypically strong order entry
and turnover - usually business is rather weak at the end of the year due
to seasonal reasons. Based on the consolidated December figures, for
financial year 2015 the company is now expecting sales amounting to
approximately EUR 85 million and an EBT margin of 10 - 11 %. Until now, the
company expected sales within a corridor of EUR 81 - 84 million and an EBT
margin of 9 - 10 %.

The preliminary business figures for 2015 are expected to be available in
the middle of February 2016 before the release of the audited financial
statement 2015 on March 23.
