ગુજરાતમાં પણ ઉત્તરપ્રદેશની જેમ ગુંડારાજ વકરતું જાય છે. કદાચ એટલે જ હવે રાજ્યના મુખ્યમંત્રી ાટવ કે હવે સેકવા સુવવનોવિજય રૂપાણીએ 'ધ ગુજરાત ગુંડાએન્ડ એન્ટી સોશિયલ એક્ટિવિટીઝ (પ્રિવેન્શન) એક્ટ' નામથી એક નવો જ કાયદો અમલમાં મુકવાનો ઈરાદો જાહેર કર્યો હતો. જેને હવે કેબિનેટમાંથી મંજૂરી મળી ગઇ છે. બુધવારે મંત્રી પરિષદની બેઠકમાં મુખ્યમંત્રીએ સ્વય આ કાયદાના મુંસદાને વટહુકમ સ્વરૂપે રજૂ કર્યું હતું. પ્રસ્તુત કાયદાના અમલથી રાજ્યમાં ધમકી આપવા જેવા મામૂલી કિસ્સામાં પણ પોલીસને આરોપીને ઉપરોક્ત કાયદા હેઠળ હેઠળ જેલમાં પુરવાનો અધિકાર પ્રાપ્ત

સરકાર દ્વારા લાવવામાં આવ્યો છે. પ્રસ્તુત કાયદા હેઠળ શાંતિમાં બાધક, સામદાયિક સંવાદિતાને ખલેલ પહોંચડાવા હિંસાનો આશ્રય લેવો. પ્રજામાં ગભરાટ કેલાવવો 122224 Roman કે આંતક ફેલાવવો, ખંડણીના ે નામેક કર્યા માં, જ્યારે મઈરાદાથી વ્યક્તિનું અપહરણકરવુ, નાણાં ધિરધાર અધિનિયમ હેઠળ વ્યાજ કે મુદલ વસૂલાતમાં કોઈ પણ વ્યક્તિની મિલકત લઈ લેવા શારિરીક હિંસા કરવી કે ધમકી

સતામણી, બનાવટી દવાઓનું વેચાણ, વ્યાજખોરી, જમીન છિનવી લેવી, અપહરણ, ગેરકાયદે કૃત્યો, ગેરકાયદે હથિયાર જેવી અસામાજિક પ્રવૃતિઓ આચરતા ગુંડા તત્વો સામે કડક કાયદાકીય જોગવાઈ ઉભી કરવાના હેતુથી નવો અલગ કાયદો (સ્પેશિયલ એક્ટ) રૂપાણી

÷ માટે સાત જેટલા મહત્વના કાયદાઓ અમલમાં આવી ચૂક્યા છે ત્યારે ઉત્તરપ્રદેશ જેવા રાજ્યની તર્જ

યાદી મારફતે બે દિવસ પહેલા પાસા એક્ટમાં સુધારો સુચવવા વટહુકમ લાવવાનું જાહેર કર્યો બાદ મંગળવારે ગુજરાતમાં ગુંડા એક્ટ અમલમાંલાવવા કેબિનેટની બેઠકમાં વધુ એક વટહુકમ રજુ કરવાનું જણાવ્યુ

ઉપર ગંડા એક્ટ લાવવા પાછળના કારણોમાં તેમણે "ગુજરાતમાં દારૂનો વેપાર, જુગાર, ગાયોનીકતલ. નશાનો વેપાર. અનૈતિક હતુ. છેલ્લા ત્રણ વર્ષમાં સામાજિક,ધાર્મિક વ્યવસ્થાના સુચારૂ સંચાલન થશે. મુખ્યમંત્રી રૂપાણીએ અખબારી વેપાર, નવ વેપાર, બાળકોની જાતિય

ભૂકંપની તીવ્રતાથી કચ્છવાસીઓને ૨૦૦૧ ના વર્ષના ભૂકંપની ચાદ તાજી થઈ ગઈ હતી કચ્છમાં બપોરે ૪.૧ની તીવ્રતાનો ભૂકંપનો આંચકો અનુભવાયો

ચાર-ચાર કોલ્ટ લાઇન ધરાવતા કચ્છમાં ભકંપ અને આંચકા આવતા રહે છે. આંચકા અને નાના ભૂકંપ આવતા રહે તે એક રીતે સારી વાત સંશોધકો જણાવે છે. અને મોટા ભૂકંપને પાછો ઠેલાવે છે. જોકે કચ્છમાં એક મોટો ભૂકંપ ગમે ત્યારે આવી બહાર આવી છે.

સમાચાર નથી મળ્યા. ભૂજ અને આજુબાજુના વિસ્તારોમાં પણ ભૂકંપના આંચકા અનુભવાયા હતા. ત્યારે ભરબપોરે લોકોએ ઘર બહાર દોટ મરી હતી. આ આંચકાની તીવ્રતા વધુ

હોવાથી કચ્છવાસીઓને ૨૦૦૧ ના વર્ષના ભૂકંપની યાદ તાજી થઈ ગઈ હતી. આંચકો વધુ મેગ્નીટ્યુડનો હોવાથી ધ્રુજારી રહ્યો છે.

સાક્ષીની યાદી છે. તેણે કથિત રીતે લાંચનો મોટો હિસ્સો આંગડિયા કંપનીઓ દ્વારા ઓડેદરાને મોકલ્યો હતો. આંગડિયા દ્વારા કથિત ૩પે મોકલાયેલા હપ્તા ઉપરાંત જાડેજા પર ભાવેશ શાહના નિવાસ સ્થાને ૪ લાખ રૂપિયા રોકડ સ્વીકારવાનો આરોપ છે. આરોપીએ સસ્પેન્ડ પોલીસ અધિકારી દ્વારા ઉપયોગમાં લેવાયેલા મોબાઇલ ફોનની ચુકવણી પણ કરી હતી.
