Change of Auditor

Pennon Group Plc (the 'Company') today announces that it has completed a formal tender process, overseen by its Audit Committee, for its Group audit which has carefully evaluated the offering of each participant.

This has resulted in a recommendation from the Audit Committee, which has now been endorsed by the Board, that a resolution be put to shareholders for approval at the 2024 Annual General Meeting ('AGM'), appointing PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the Group's auditor for the year ending 31 March 2025.

Ernst & Young LLP, who have been the Company's auditor since the year ended 31 March 2015, will continue in the role until that time, and will therefore undertake the Group audit for the year ending 31 March 2024. Ernst & Young LLP will cease to hold office as the Group's auditor at the conclusion of the Company's 2024 AGM."
