Bilfinger SE announced on April 13, 2016 that it was holding talks with
potential candidates for the new Chairman of the Executive Board. The
company intends to name the future Chairman of the Executive Board shortly.

We confirm that talks have also been held with Thomas Blades, but these
talks have not been completed.

A resolution from the Supervisory Board of Bilfinger SE on the appointment
of the future Chairman of the Executive Board has not yet been made.
