We received the following notification by GIC Private Limited on April 28,
2016:

'Notification according to Section 27a of the German Securities Trading Act
(Werpapierhandelsgesetzt-WpHG)

To whom it may concern,

Pursuant to section 27a WpHG, we, GIC Private Limited ('GIC'), Singapore,
Singapore, hereby give notice in relation to our disclosure dated 28 April
2016 of the voting rights (exceeding the threshold of 10% as of 22 April
2016) in alstria Office REIT-AG ('Issuer'), of the aims pursued with the
purchase of the voting rights in the Issuer:

1. The acquisition was solely aimed at generating trading profits.

2. GIC does not currently intend to acquire further voting rights within
   the next twelve months by means of a purchase or by any other means.
   However, it is possible that further voting rights may be purchased within
   the next twelve months, if it is beneficial to do so.

3. GIC does not intend to exert any influence on the appointment or removal
   of members of the Issuer's administrative, managing and supervisory bodies.

4. GIC does not intend to pursue a material change in the Issuer's capital
   structure, in particular as regards the ratio between own funds and
   external funds and the dividend policy.

5. The voting rights were acquired by and/or are being attributed to GIC as
   fund manager. GIC did not raise any equity or debt funding for the
   acquisition of the voting rights.'
