Ahrensburg, May 02, 2016 – BASLER AG, one of the leading global manufacturers of industrial cameras, is presenting today final figures for the first three months of 2016.
In the first three months of the fiscal year 2016, the group’s incoming orders amounted to Euro 23.5 million (previous year: Euro 21.0 million, +12 %). The group’s sales amounted to Euro 22.4 million, and were on the previous year’s level (Euro 22.3 million). The gross profit margin amounted to 49.1 % (previous year: 48.9 %). The earnings before taxes (EBT) for the group decreased by 27 % to Euro 2.2 million (previous year: Euro 3.0 million). The pre-tax return rate amounted to 10 % (previous year: 13.5 %).
“The company started into the new fiscal year with a solid sales level and a solid result margin. The incoming orders reached a new record value. With this tailwind we are confident about the second quarter 2016”, said Hardy Mehl, Chief Financial Officer.
For 2016, the company continues to plan within a sales corridor of Euro 90 – 92 million at an EBT margin between 9 – 10 %.
