AVI Japan Opportunity Trust (AJOT) has launched new video content with Doceo.
AJOT invests in a focussed portfolio of over-capitalised small-cap Japanese equities. Asset Value Investors will leverage its three decades of experience investing in asset-backed companies to engage with company management and help to unlock value in this under-researched area of the market.
In this Big Picture Interview, David Stevenson is joined by Joe Bauernfreund, CEO and CIO at AVI. David and Joe discuss value investing, and how the team define value. Bauernfreund explains that, while obtaining £1 of assets for 70p presents an interesting opportunity, at AVI the team focus on finding companies where they expect that £1 of assets to grow over time.
