Total Voting Rights

Informa (LSE: INF.L), the leading international Academic Markets, B2B Markets and Digital Services Group today provided an update on the Total Voting Rights at the Company following the continuation of its Share Buyback Programme.

Share Buyback Programme

The Company commenced a Share Buyback Programme in February 2022 and, as at 31 January 2024, has repurchased and cancelled 171,832,165[1] ordinary shares.

Total Voting Rights

On 9 January 2024, the Company issued 8,860,000 ordinary shares of 0.1p each for the purposes of its share option plans from its block listing authority of 19 March 2021. Those shares rank equally in all respects with the existing issued ordinary shares in the Company.

As a result of this issue and the Share Buyback Programme, as at 31 January 2024, the total issued share capital of the Company, and its total voting rights, consisted of 1,371,633,439 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each.  The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
