Directorate Change

As part of the Company's plan to ensure an orderly succession as Directors retire, an independent search company was commissioned to find a new director for the Board.  Following a thorough selection process, conducted by the search company, CT Private Equity Trust PLC is pleased to announce that Craig Armour has been appointed to the Board with effect from today, 19 December 2023.

Until 2021 Craig was an investment partner at Edinburgh Partners where his roles included head of European portfolios and the manager of The European Investment Trust PLC. Previously, he was a senior investment director at Lloyds Development Capital, a partner at Penta Capital, and a corporate financier at Noble Grossart.

It is anticipated that Craig, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, will be appointed the Chair of the Audit Committee following the retirement of Elizabeth Kennedy at the forthcoming 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Company.

We look forward to working with Craig and to the valuable insights that he will bring to the Board's deliberations.
