Von Roll Holding AG: Sale of Von Roll Austral, Inc. North America
Au / Wädenswil, May 26, 2017 – Von Roll Holding AG is selling one of a total of four locations in the USA, and is thereby proceeding consistently with the realignment initiated in the past year.
Dr. Christian Hennerkes, CEO: “The sale of our subsidiary Von Roll Austral marks another important step in focusing on our more profitable core areas. We are thus parting with a peripheral activity, that is neither sufficiently scalable in the short and medium term nor in line with our future profitability targets. “
Von Roll Austral in Douglasville currently employs about 40 employees and produces various wire products for smaller repair shops as well as for competing wire producers to cover peak loads.
All other activities of the Von Roll Group in the wire business, particularly in France and India, will continue unaltered and will be expanded further in attractive special segments.
