De La Rue plc (the "Company") announces that on 19 September 2023 Ruth Euling, an Executive Director and a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMR") of the Company, exercised a nil-cost option (the "Option") granted under the Company's Performance Share Plan ("PSP") and sold ordinary shares of 44152/175p of the Company ("Shares") in the market to fund income tax and national insurance withholdings, plus associated dealing costs. The shares were sold in the market at a weighted average price of 61.00 pence per Share.

The Option was granted to her under the rules of the PSP on 4 December 2013 and vested in full on the third anniversary of the date of grant.  The Option would otherwise have lapsed on 4 December 2023.

The exercise of the Option and the sale of Shares to fund withholdings creates a change in the interests of Ruth Euling in the Company's Shares as set out below:
