**Deutsche Konsum REIT-AG acquires eight retail properties with an investment volume of EUR 15.0 million/Inclusion into the REITs-Segment of Deutsche Börse AG**

Broderstorf, 7 December 2017 – Deutsche Konsum REIT-AG (ISIN DE000A14KRD3) has further acquired eight retail properties with notarial authentication of today and on 6 November 2017.

The acquired portfolio comprises the following spots in established micro-locations:

– a retail portfolio with a total rental space of around 7,400 sqm at six locations with a WALT of around 6 years. The portfolio includes three grocery markets with the anchor tenant Netto (Edeka Group) at two locations in Berlin as well as in Weilheim (Bavaria) and also three non-food stores in Waldbröl (North Rhine-Westphalia), Dierdorf (Rhineland-Palatinate) and Jestetten (Baden-Württemberg) with the anchor tenants Rossmann, Fressnapf, Kik and TEDi as well as

– an OBI DIY store in Finsterwalde (Brandenburg) with around 11,000 sqm rental space (rental contract until 2024) and a Hagebaumarkt DIY store in Zeulenroda (Thuringia) with a rental space of around 5,600 sqm (rental contract until 2025).

Total rental space of all objects amounts to 24,000 sqm and is fully let. Annualised rent of these eight assets currently amounts to kEUR 1,488. Regarding the total investment of EUR 15,0 million this leads to an initial yield of 10 %. Transfer of titles of all properties is expected to occur on 1 January 2018.

Taking into account these acquisitions the current property portfolio of Deutsche Konsum (pro forma) comprises 74 retail properties with an annualised rent of EUR 27.0 million.

Moreover, Deutsche Konsum is in further concrete purchase processes.

Rolf Elgeti, Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Konsum REIT-AG: “The most recent acquisitions show that DKR is still finding a filled acquisition pipeline despite a growing competition for highly profitable objects. Additionally we have expanded into south-west Germany for the first time. Thus our focus gets broader and we aim to continue this investment strategy.”

**Inclusion in the REITs-Segment**

Since 20 November 2017 Deutsche Konsum has been included into the REITs segment of Deutsche Börse. The DKR share is now part of the RX REIT (All share) Index.
