Group revenues, EBIT and order income exceed planning
init innovation in traffic systems SE (ISIN DE 0005759807) will surpass the stated targets for 2017 on revenues, earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) and order income. According to preliminary figures, group revenues amount to EUR 130.6m (2016: EUR 108.6m), which is 20 percent up on the previous year. The original planning of EUR 120m could be exceeded by 9 percent.
For the financial year 2017, init had planned an EBIT of EUR 5m to 7m. At EUR 8.6m, it is expected to exceed the median value of the EBIT planning by 43 percent. Although EBIT is thus below the previous year’s figure of EUR 11.7m, it should be noted that in 2016 a one-off positive special effect of around EUR 4.7m was booked.
The order income underscores init’s profitable growth: at EUR 139.4m (2016: EUR 128.7m), it exceeded the previous year’s figure by 8 percent and is well above the revenues achieved.
The final figures, the annual report for 2017 and the outlook for the financial year 2018 will be presented by the Managing Board on 22 March 2018 in Frankfurt on the occasion of the annual press and analyst conference. At the same time, the annual report will also be available on the company’s website.
