Interim Financial Statements

The Board of Gresham House Renewable Energy VCT 1 PLC announces a set of unaudited interim financial statements for the period from 1 October 2022 to 31 May 2023 (the "Interim Financial Statements").

To increase the Company's distributable reserves and facilitate future dividend payments, an application was made to the Court to cancel the Company's share premium account and capital redemption reserve on 28 April 2023. Approval for the cancellation was confirmed by Court order on 23 May 2023.

As announced on 30 June 2023, the Company therefore confirms the declaration of an interim dividend of 18.5p per Ordinary Share and notes that the Interim Financial Statements have been prepared to demonstrate sufficient distributable reserves for the dividend to be paid on 28 July 2023.

The Interim Financial Statements reflect that as of 31 May 2023 the Company had a combined net asset value per share of 91.2p (consisting of a net asset value per Ordinary share of 91.1p and a net asset value per A share of 0.1p) and distributable reserves of £10,747,000.

In accordance with section 838 of the Companies Act, the Interim Financial Statements need to have been filed with the Registrar of Companies and published on the Companies House website before the dividend be paid.
