Appointment of voluntary liquidators
On 19 May 2023 it was announced that the joint administrators had applied to the Insolvency and Companies Court of the Chancery Division of the High Court of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 55 of Schedule B1 to the Insolvency Act 1986 to seek directions (the "Directions Application"), following rejection of the joint administrators' statement of proposals at the virtual meeting held on 12 May 2023.
The Directions Application was heard on 5 June 2023 by ICC Judge Prentis.
ICC Judge Prentis ordered for the termination of the administration and that Benjamin Thom Cairns (Insolvency Practitioner Number: 9697) and Mark Granville Firmin (Insolvency Practitioner Number: 9284), each of Alvarez & Marsal Europe LLP at Park House, 16-18 Finsbury Circus, London, EC2M 7EB, act as the joint liquidators of the Company (the "Joint Liquidators") in a creditors' voluntary liquidation of the Company.
The appointment of the Joint Liquidators took effect from 28 June 2023.
