Change to date of results announcement  

Speedy, the UK's leading provider of tools and equipment hire, and services to the construction, infrastructure and industrial markets today announces that it will report its full year results to 31 March 2023 ("FY2023") on 22 June 2023, instead of 6 June 2023 as previously indicated.

The Company's new auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP has requested additional time to complete its internal processes in order to finalise its audit report. The Company is disappointed with the delay.

As previously reported in the trading update issued on 5 April 2023, the Company continues to expect to report results for FY2023 in line with the Board's expectations.

By way of update, on 26 May 2023 the Company successfully extended its existing £180m asset based finance facility by a further two years to 31 July 2026 on existing terms.
