Laiki Capital Public Co Ltd (the «Company»), in accordance with the Cyprus Stock Exchange and Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission Regulations, announces that its consolidated financial results for the year ended 31 December 2012 are expected to show an increased loss after tax as compared to the consolidated financial results of the corresponding period of 2011. The decrease in the results is mainly due to the revaluation/impairment of the financial assets, the expected impairment of goodwill and other intangible assets of the Company, the revaluation of property/investment in property as well as the decrease in the operating income due to the collapse of the trading volumes in both the CSE and the ASE.
