Today, the Group confirms that its name has changed from Provident Financial plc to Vanquis Banking Group plc.

On 26 January 2023, alongside its fourth quarter trading statement, the Group announced its decision to change its name to Vanquis Banking Group plc to better reflect the Group's strategic positioning and mix of lending products. Today, the Board is pleased to announce that this change has taken effect today and that the London Stock Exchange will reflect this change in due course.

The Group's stock market ticker will change to VANQ in due course and its ISIN and LEI will remain unchanged. The change of name will not affect any rights of shareholders and existing share certificates should be retained as they will remain valid and no new share certificates will be issued.
